Critical Success Factors: A Case Study
![]()
Why this tool?
This tool is a case study examining whether the evaluation of Adult Education (AE) programmes is performed upon the completion of each Adult Education (AE) course or training as well as verifying whether the results of the evaluation are used by the policy makers at the policy planning stage, thus closing the gap and feeding the results back into the loop. What purpose does this tool solve? To illustrate the critical factors in valorisation of policy. To show how these critical factors work in practice by adopting the case study approach to evaluation. The outcome of utilising this case study as a tool, is to indicate the steps that are necessary to support and implement the principles of co-design in the project design, project implementation and project evaluation phase. The tool links to critical success factors, and acts as a benchmark against which projects can be evaluated How to use this tool? This tool offers a snapshot of the processes involved in the development of a course that was co designed with communities in conflict. The principles of inclusion, leadership, steering, assembly, commitment, internal and external evaluation methods are described as a means to extrapolate the key success factors entailed in the project. These same principles can be applied in many contexts. Hint: Encourage people to identify as case study that the reader can identify with rather than taken a generative Case study Content list • Critical Success Factors: A Case Study • Who needs to be included • Leadership must commit • Working group/steering group • Shared decision making • Regular assembly • Commit in writing • External and internal evaluation • Conclusion • Further information ![]() Download Tool |
